Puget Sound Waterfront
This 4-story, 5,600 SF home is perched on a steep hillside boasting panoramic views of the Puget Sound. Due to the site's location in a landslide-prone area, the design necessitated a foundation of concrete piles, penetrating 50 to 60 feet into the ground, alongside a retaining wall anchored with tiebacks into the hillside.

The central three-story light well is painted a serene blue-green, reminiscent of the Sound on a sunny day. Its hue, coupled with a sizable pyramid skylight, invites sunlight even on the frequently overcast days characteristic of Seattle.
